Ballet competition at HELP CAT


William Lor and Luisa Lau, the founders of the William and Luis Danceworld and co-organisers of the competition. Luisa is the artistic director of W&L Danceworld.

HELP CAT co-organised and provided the venue for the 1st Malaysian International Ballet Grand Prix this weekend. Held over 5 days from 23 to 27 November, the competitive event featured classical, modern, jazz and contemporary ballet and culminated in an awards ceremony and a gala performance on Sunday 27 November.


William Lor is VP of the Malaysian Dancers’ Association. He is a Fellow and Examiner IDTA (BB & LA) London. William organizes, adjudicates and choreographs for numerous dance events locally and internationally. Luisa Lau trained at the Royal Academy of Dance UK. She is a Licentiate IDTA (UK) BB & LA, Line Dancing. Luisa is also a WDC International Adjudicator.
